In honor of the 46th anniversary of Roe V. Wade, the landmark Supreme Court case that legalized abortion, Planned Parenthood of Nassau County is hosting a screening of "RBG," a compelling and moving documentary that offers an intimate portrait of an unlikely hero: Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg. With unprecedented access, the filmmakers explore how her early legal battles changed the world for women.

Prior to the screening, PPNC President & CEO, JoAnn Smith, will briefly talk about Justice Ginsburg's critical role on the Supreme Court of the United States. She will also address how the recent appointment of Brett Kavanaugh, which has tipped the balance of the court, puts the future of Roe v. Wade — and the right to safe and legal abortion care — at risk of being gutted or overturned.

Following the film, attendees are welcome to stay for a short Q&A with a panel of experts.
